DRIVER'S APP TRAINING

At Party Go Round, everything we do connects through the Event Rental Systems (ERS) Driver’s App. Think of it as your playbook for the day — it tells you where to go, what to set up, and any special notes from the customer. When everyone uses it the right way, the day runs smoothly and customers stay happy.

That’s why the very first step is to watch the Driver’s App training video. Take your time with it, and don’t be afraid to re-watch if something doesn’t click. Once you get the hang of it, you

DELIVERING THE FUN

1. Contact The Customer

3. Walk The Area & Look Around

1. Contact The Customer

  • Open the Driver’s App, check the order, confirm the address.

  • Use Waze for navigation — double-check the city and route.

  • Send a specific ETA text:

  • ✅ “Hi, this is Party Go Round. We’ll be there around 2:15 pm.”

  • ❌ Never say “around 2ish” or “in 30 minutes.”

2. Greet The Customer

3. Walk The Area & Look Around

1. Contact The Customer

  • Knock/ring, smile, and introduce yourself.

  • Say: “We’re here to set up your inflatable. Can you show us where you’d like it?”

  • Never walk through the house — always go around outside.

3. Walk The Area & Look Around

3. Walk The Area & Look Around

3. Walk The Area & Look Around

  • Start at the spot the customer suggests.

  • Ask: “Is this really the best place?”

  • Be polite but confident if it’s unsafe or impractical. Offer a better option if needed.

4. Safety Check

5. Parent's View & Photos

3. Walk The Area & Look Around

  • Ground should be flat and stable.

  • Keep away from hazards: trees, fences, sheds, power lines.

  • At least 3 feet of clearance around the unit.

  • ✅ Grass is best.

  • ✅ Pavement is fine with sandbags.

  • ❌ Never gravel, mulch, or sharp ground.

5. Parent's View & Photos

5. Parent's View & Photos

5. Parent's View & Photos

  • Parents must see kids at all times.

  • Bounce houses/combos → face entrance toward deck, porch, or kitchen window.

  • Water slides → make climb and splash zone visible.

  • Think photos: set up so it looks awesome from the party area.

6. Water & Power

5. Parent's View & Photos

5. Parent's View & Photos

  • Outlet within 100 ft of blower.

  • Avoid cords across walkways if possible.

  • Water slides:

  • Hose must reach.  Make sure hose is connected and NOT in a knot at all.

  • Drain water away from the house/soft spots.

7. Cleaning At Delivery (If Needed)

Sometimes a unit needs a touch-up on site. Do it fast, but do it right:

  1. Tarp first — always stake it before unrolling.

  2. Roll out in position — spray cleaner on vinyl you can reach while rolling.

  3. Clean before inflation — wipe the top and front-facing side first.

  4. Stake & clean — one person stakes while another cleans inside.

  5. Inside cleaning — use blower/vac for debris; sanitize bounce floors, walls, mesh, stairs, entrances, handles.

  6. Final wipe outside — remove scuffs/smudges.

  7. Secure everything — blowers tight, zippers closed, flaps covering.  MAKE SURE ALL FLAPS ARE CLOSED.  This is very important to keep the inflatable firm.

  8. Step back & check — does it look clean, safe, and photo-ready? If not, fix it before leaving.

✨ Customers don’t see the process — they see the result. Always leave it spotless and professional.

8. Make It Look Good

7. Cleaning At Delivery (If Needed)

7. Cleaning At Delivery (If Needed)

  • Don’t block the yard’s nice view.

  • Don’t set it up sideways/backwards.

  • Always face the decorated/entrance side toward guests.

  • Setup should feel intentional, not “plopped down.”

9. Confirm With The Customer

7. Cleaning At Delivery (If Needed)

9. Confirm With The Customer

Explain your choice:
“This spot is flat, safe, and lets you see the kids from the deck. Plus it’ll look great in photos and the blower is furthest away from conversation.”

Then ask:
“Does this work for you?”

✅ Always get their approval before leaving.

THE OWNER'S EYE CHECKLIST

IS IT SAFE?

DOES IT LOOK GOOD?

DOES IT LOOK GOOD?

  • Ground: Flat, stable, not sloped. No soft mud or standing water.

  • Clearance: At least 3 feet around and 15 feet overhead (no branches or wires).

  • Anchoring: Stakes/sandbags possible at all anchor points.

  • Traffic flow: Not blocking walkways, driveways, gates, or garage access.

  • Hazards: Away from grills, fire pits, pools, fences, playsets, sheds.

👉 If it’s not safe, don’t set it up there — politely redirect.

DOES IT LOOK GOOD?

DOES IT LOOK GOOD?

DOES IT LOOK GOOD?

  • Face the fun side forward — the decorated entrance or slide front should point toward the party, not the neighbor’s yard.

  • Center it in the yard or space — balanced, not shoved against a fence.

  • Photo ready — parents will take dozens of pictures; give them a clean background (not trash cans, AC units, or sheds).

  • Wow factor — think about what guests see first when they walk in.

👉 Ask: “Would I want a picture of my kid here?”

IS IT PRACTICAL?

WOULD I BE HAPPY IF THIS WAS MY HOUSE?

WOULD I BE HAPPY IF THIS WAS MY HOUSE?

  • Power: Outlet within 100 ft, on a dedicated circuit (no fridge/AC).

  • Cord path: Safe routing, no trip hazards across walkways.

  • Water (slides): Hose reaches easily; water drains downhill/away from house.

  • Access: Room to roll it out and roll it back up later — not crammed between fences or trees.

  • Parent visibility: Parents can see the entrance/climb/splash zone from where they’ll be.

👉 Practical = fewer problems, smoother day, faster pickup.

WOULD I BE HAPPY IF THIS WAS MY HOUSE?

This is the gut check:

  • Does it look intentional, not sloppy?

  • Is it safe for my kids to play on?

  • Will it impress the guests?

  • Does it protect the customer’s yard (no cords through flower beds, no giant mud puddle)?

👉 If you’d be proud to host your own kid’s party here, then it’s the right spot.
