CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

At Party Go Round, cleaning is just as important as setting up safely. Customers don’t just want an inflatable that looks good — they expect one that’s truly clean and sanitized for their kids. A shiny bounce house means nothing if it isn’t germ-free. That’s why cleaning is one of the most important parts of your job.

GOALS OF CLEANING

  1. Remove debris (grass, leaves, wrappers, etc.)

  2. Wipe down vinyl so it looks sharp and professional

  3. Disinfect surfaces kids touch to keep everyone safe

👉 Remember: We’re not just making it look good — we’re making it safe to play on.

TOOLS YOU'LL USE

  • Leaf blower or shop vac → clears grass, dirt, and trash fast

  • Towels/rags → for wiping vinyl surfaces

  • Disinfectant spray → kills germs on contact surfaces

  • Trash bags → nothing gets left behind in the customer’s yard

STEP BY STEP CLEANING

OUTSIDE WIPE & SHINE

OUTSIDE WIPE & SHINE

OUTSIDE WIPE & SHINE

How to do it:

  • Walk fully around the inflatable.

  • Use a towel with disinfectant spray (never spray directly on the inflatable) to wipe scuffs, mud, or grass stains.

  • Pay extra attention to the customer-facing side — this is the side people notice first and where most pictures are taken.

  • If the vinyl looks dull, give it a quick extra wipe for shine.

Why it matters:
A clean-looking inflatable is the first thing parents and guests notice. If it looks dirty or stained, they’ll assume it isn’t safe or sanitary. A sharp, clean exterior builds trust, keeps customers happy, and makes Party Go Round look professional in every photo.

BLOW OUT DEBRIS

OUTSIDE WIPE & SHINE

OUTSIDE WIPE & SHINE

How to do it:

  • Use the leaf blower or vacuum to remove grass, dirt, socks, candy wrappers, and leaves.

  • Get deep into corners, seams, and climbing steps — these are debris hotspots.

  • Use a sweeping motion with the blower to move trash toward one exit area.

  • Always bag the trash immediately and remove it from the customer’s yard.

Why it matters:
Loose debris not only looks bad, it can also cause kids to slip or trip. Leaving behind trash is unprofessional and makes the customer feel like we don’t care. Cleaning thoroughly shows respect for their property and ensures kids are safe inside the inflatable.

WIPE DOWN INSIDE

DISINFECT THOROUGHLY

How to do it:

  • Spray disinfectant/cleaner on a towel (never directly on vinyl).

  • Wipe all high-contact areas thoroughly:

    • Bounce floors

    • Walls & mesh

    • Slides & stairs

    • Entrances & exits

    • Handles & climbing grips

  • Pay special attention to areas kids touch the most, especially entrance flaps and handles.

  • If it’s a water slide, wipe down the splash area and climbing steps to prevent slippery residue.

Why it matters:
Sanitizing isn’t just about appearances — it protects kids from germs and keeps families safe. Even if an inflatable looks clean, bacteria and viruses can still be present. A proper wipe-down proves to customers that safety comes first at Party Go Round.

DISINFECT THOROUGHLY

DISINFECT THOROUGHLY

DISINFECT THOROUGHLY

How to do it:

  • After wiping down surfaces, lightly spray disinfectant across all high-contact areas.

  • Always spray onto a towel first, not directly on vinyl, to avoid streaks.

  • Pay extra attention to: entrances/exits, handles, grips, climbing walls, and slides.

  • Let surfaces air dry for a few minutes before kids use them.

Why it matters:
Looking clean isn’t the same as being safe. Germs, bacteria, and viruses don’t show up to the eye. Sanitizing ensures parents know their kids are safe. It’s one of the biggest ways Party Go Round shows we care about families’ health.

SECURE & FINAL CHECK

DISINFECT THOROUGHLY

SECURE & FINAL CHECK

How to do it:

  • Double-check blowers, zippers, and flaps. Make sure everything is fully closed and secured.

  • Walk fully around the inflatable and look at it from the customer’s perspective.

  • Ask yourself:

    • Does it look great?

    • Does it feel safe?

    • Would I let my own kids play on it right now?

Why it matters:
This is your last chance to catch mistakes. A loose blower or open zipper can lead to unsafe conditions. Customers judge us on the final result — if it looks sharp and feels secure, they’ll feel confident recommending Party Go Round.

MISTAKES TO AVOID

DISINFECT THOROUGHLY

SECURE & FINAL CHECK

Common errors:

  • Forgetting to sanitize (looks good ≠ actually clean).

  • Leaving debris inside — customers always notice.

  • Spraying cleaner directly on vinyl (leads to streaks, puddles, or damage).

  • Rushing the final walkaround.

Why it matters:
One missed step can ruin the customer’s trust. Even small mistakes (like leaving socks or candy wrappers) make us look careless. Avoiding these errors keeps our reputation strong and makes sure every inflatable leaves the yard in top shape.

OUR STANDARDS

Cleaning isn’t “extra.” It’s the most important part of the job. Parents trust us to bring safe, clean inflatables for their kids to play on. If an inflatable is dirty, smells bad, or has trash inside, parents will notice right away. That’s how we lose customers. But if the inflatable is spotless, fresh, and looks amazing, parents feel good about their choice — and they’ll book with us again.

Always remember: kids are climbing, sliding, and touching every part of the inflatable. Germs don’t always show, but they are always there. That’s why disinfecting matters just as much as making it look good. A clean inflatable means happy parents, safe kids, and a strong reputation for Party Go Round.

Bottom line: If you wouldn’t let your own kids play on it, it’s not clean enough.
